A rustic inn with excellent home-style cooking. The mustard-flavored meat with dumplings was excellent. We'd gladly return.

The oldest restaurant in Altenburg. Good home-style cooking and a dedicated couple run it. Located on a side street off the market, it serves Thuringian cuisine and Altenburg beer. The decor is still original and worth a look. This combination makes this small restaurant very charming.
