Even in the snowless season, it's a worthwhile destination for hiking in the high mountain air. The Ötscher is always in view, and from the Tormäuer ridge, it fills the frame. The hut offers good food and many practical amenities.

Positive: There's a changing room for cross-country skiers. The restaurant staff is friendly. I had a ski burger. It was okay. But for €7.20, I expected a larger portion. The drink was Dirndlsaft, but it was so thin that it only had a slight color but no flavor. On the other hand, the trails are in excellent condition.

It was really beautiful. We had plenty of snow. We were there around 2:00 PM. By the end, it was already foggy. The kids really enjoyed it. You can also buy drinks and small snacks there.
