We started from Gerlos, behind Alpenrose Hotel Garni. We took the 7A path and it is a wonderful forest trail with breathtaking surroundings for 6km, trhn another 2km in the open. The food and drinks in Wimmertal are great and reasonably priced. The schnitzel is huge and very delicious.
