Had dinner at De Trompet — the food was good, but nothing particularly special. We tried the shrimp in tomato sauce with parmesan and the mussels in garlic sauce. Both dishes were tasty, but lacked a bit of that "wow" factor. The place has a nice atmosphere and the staff was friendly. Overall, a decent experience, but not unforgettable.

The atmosphere is a little “touristic” but you will definitely enjoy the cuisine and the cold Belgian beers. We portions of food are really good and the prices were decent. I recommend paying a visit there after visiting the fantastic In Flanders museum which is just some meters away.
