You do not visit Šumava because of the restaurants but this one is exceptional good. We tried almost everything on the menu and we were not disappointed once. Price (Aug 2020): cca 150czk per meal, 40czk for 0.5l soda. Credit cards accepted.

More than a pleasant surprise. The best meal I had in Sumava. The interior is old school and clearly says that this is the pub for locals, but then you get your meal and... that is quite a piece of art. So do not get scared by the locals …

Surprisingly good food in a forgotten spot and absolutelly unsuitable time for tourism (summer long gone, winter not there yet). Very well done indeed, folks!
