Hôtel Restaurant Le Clocher : 14 Pl. Carnot, 17590 Ars-en-Ré

Stayed 4 nights. Service is friendly, rooms are fine although could do with ventilation at night. Had a lovely stay. Seafood at the restaurant is v good. I felt I was well looked after.

Absolutely terrible. Food was very poor standard. Steak served cold. Mixed up or missing orders. Waited 20 mins for the bottle of wine we ordered while the waitress messed about like a child with some local guys. We then witnessed a row between here and the boss. Basically, how NOT to run a restaurant. Avoid.
