A small country hotel where the owner provided an excellent meal for a reasonable price. This needed to be booked in advance. Not much English spoken but then we were in France and she was Portuguese. We were a party of 3 brothers travelling on the canals and visited le Champicaunais on 10th May.

A village bar as we like them! Very friendly welcome, very easy to park, possibility of having a meal. Special mention for the very wide opening hours every day. A real gathering point for Champicaunais.
