Nice restaurant with good food, we try the goulas soup, the spaetzle with chees and spaetzle with ragu sauce. Also, the traditional desert apple strudel. The service was good and the palce is very nice.
My fiancé and I came here for the panoramic views. He enjoyed a cappuccino and I enjoyed Johannisbeerschorle. The restaurant has a very rustic mountain‑hut feel. In interior is cozy with velvet chairs. Then there’s a terrace, which is perfect on sunny days. Overall, if you’re seeking a restaurant with unforgettable views and a relaxed alpine vibe, check out Merkurstüble.
This place is CASH ONLY so be prepared for that. They also have the only bathrooms for 5+ km if you're planning to hike down. The bathrooms were cramped and felt a bit unkempt but was clean enough. You can't really go wrong with beer, and its a beautiful setting to have a drink. The desserts of the day seemed to be very popular although we didn't try the food. The outdoor seating was comfortable and there was clearly more space inside too.
