I actually didn't want to go because this lovely restaurant is out of my budget and I'm not really the target audience who can eat there. Since Sabine has wanted to go there for almost a year and Eva and Werner wanted to go too, I came along. I was very surprised by how friendly the team was and the food was great. I've never eaten such a delicious Strasbourg sausage salad before. Beautiful to look at and, above all, the sausage and cheese were at room temperature. Very well seasoned and the fried potatoes were delicious. Sabine and Eva had zander and Werner had cordon bleu. It was also very good and the three of them really enjoyed it. I've never had beer like that before from a small family brewery, Bauhöfer. Ute and her team, Bernd, also gave us a nice send-off. I'll go there again with Sabine on a special occasion. Beautiful ambiance and very lovingly decorated. We had the impression that everyone was overworked and overwhelmed. The food was beautifully presented, but unfortunately, the side salad was stale. I had rump steak with potato gratin and vegetables. My steak was unfortunately tough, otherwise, everything was delicious... the gravy was especially good.
