Restaurant - Café Forsthaus Auerhahn : Hinterlangenbach 108, 72270 Baiersbronn

This was our first visit to this very remote but beautiful restaurant at the Hotel Forsthaus Auerhahn in Hinterlangenbach . Every day at lunch, there's a large hot and cold buffet that leaves nothing to be desired ! This wellness hotel and restaurant is very cozy and appealing in the Black Forest style! The number of cars and international guests suggests that this remote establishment is a very popular and well-known hotel! The food is varied and of high quality! Except for Christmas and Easter, the buffet costs €32 per person and includes a soup, a large salad buffet, a huge selection of delicious appetizers , two hot main courses, several hot side dishes, and a wide selection of desserts . We were impressed, very satisfied, more than full, and would gladly return, despite the very remote location on the eastern side of the Black Forest High Road in the Baiersbronn district! PS: The service is good and not intrusive, but still has room for improvement!

During our Black Forest tour we took a detour to the Auerhahn for coffee and cake. How the hotel has developed into a wellness oasis over the last few decades is impressive. Almost a bit too big for our taste. But everyone has to decide that for themselves. We have also stayed here several times over the last few decades and were not disappointed. This time it was just a blueberry cake and coffee. As always, good quality!

Very nice hotel. We are delighted with the services and the setting which is magnificent. If you want peace and quiet and enjoy the outdoor swimming pool. You are at the right address.
