The restaurant 'Wipfel - Das Schwarzwald Restaurant' offers an overall experience that impresses with extremely attentive staff, exquisitely tasty food and a charming atmosphere. Although the duck meat was unfortunately kept warm for a little too long and lost some of its tenderness, the overall culinary experience was still appealing. Salvation came in the form of a heavenly dessert that deftly offset the previous inconvenience. The variety and quality of the dishes as well as the care of the staff make the 'Wipfel' a place that, despite minor deficiencies, impresses with its outstanding service and variety of tastes.

Unfortunately, our visit to the Hotel Lamm/Guest was a bit disappointing. We only went to the restaurant for dinner because we were impressed by the menu and the previous positive reviews of the hotel. The restaurant area was cozy and the staff was nice. The food, on the contrary, was completely different than expected given the price. The onion soup declared on the menu was more of an onion cream soup with more cream and flour than anything else (whether it even contained onions was questionable), but the side salad was good and convincing. The trout with jacket potatoes we ordered was okay but unfortunately nothing special. The venison ragout we ordered was much more disappointing. Unfortunately it was totally over salted and extremely seasoned,
