Hey, on the way back we stopped at the “Erbolino coffee roastery” in Bietigheim (Baden) in the old train station 🌸 The former, listed station building was carefully renovated in 2016. In order to preserve the character of the modest country station, necessary floor plan changes were only made with great caution 🌷 The roasting machine was currently in operation. A variety of different fine creations are offered ☕ Breakfast (also buffet), lunch and coffee/cake are served in the restaurant's appealing ambience (closed on Sundays and public holidays) 🤩 We decided on apple and cheese cake. Both very tasty 😋

Visit on Monday, November 4th, 2024 early afternoon (2:20 p.m.) Located directly at the “Bietigheim/Baden” train station. Since I was there after 2 p.m., at that time there are only coffee specialties and various tarts/sheet cakes or donuts to choose from. Lunch is served every day from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. except Wednesdays. After entering I was greeted and allowed to choose a table. The employee came to my table and asked what I would like without showing me a card, which I would have liked. I then asked the employee about cake and found out that there were donuts, strawberry cream tarts, hazelnut slices, apple cake and cheese and mandarin sheet cake that day. In addition, it was stated that the tarts are relatively small and that she would therefore recommend purchasing two pieces. An order: > Cheese and mandarin sheet cake for €3.90 > Hot chocolate for €3.50 Summary: The cheese and mandarin cake was a cake from a tray and not in a round cake shape as is usually the case in 99% of cases. The cake was generally tasty, but I thought the size was too small. You can also buy small items on site, which are sold through the cafe. Suggestion for improvement: The information about the times of the breakfast buffet and lunch could also be stored on the homepage so that you know in advance if you wanted to take them, as this is only stored on site. The cafe is a gem; you feel very comfortable here. It's lovingly and beautifully decorated and has some eye-catching items. The fact that you can purchase the contents of the cupboards is ideal, as it also gives you a selection of gifts 😊. I highly recommend the breakfast buffet; it leaves nothing to be desired. Everyone is nice and friendly; this could become one of my favorite cafes. The cafe is located by the train station, but I didn't notice or hear the train, so the windows are good. Reservations are important.
