Restaurant & Hotel Amboss : Friedach 15, 88287 Grünkraut

We were travelling from Belgium to the Dolomites in Italy. Gasthaus Amboss was a great place to rest after a day of driving. The view is great. It is situated on the quiet countryside. There is a supermarket on walking distance. The staff was very friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant, that was delicious. It is quite popular, so make sure to make a reservation. The breakfast was definitely a plus: warm bread, fruit, yoghurt, eggs... We can definitely recommend this place!

The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The hotel rooms look very nice and modern. I only gave it two starts because the bathroom wasn't all that clean and also because we got a room with a double room for 2 persons and paid for 3. Didn't get an extra towel, just two even after I requested. I will recommend the hotel, just make sure you get what you paid for.

This has been an unexpectedly great stay. The Hotel is super well run, you can feel all the love and detail this family is putting into their business. A full 5 stars. Besides the accommodation, food was great in their restaurant.
