Pizzeria Goldene Taverne : Bürgerturmstraße 9, 88400 Biberach an der Riß

This is a little italian restaurant with fairly limited seating space. I got myself an italian salat as an appetizer and a spagetti carbonara as the main dish together with a large coke light for a total of 17.30€. Overall the meal was good. Both portions were sizeable and well priced. PS: The pizzas are only available in one size (no small or large, etc).

This is a casual, family-friendly Italian restaurant, right off the marktplatz in Biberach. If you're looking for somewhere that is easy, where the staff are friendly, and the food is tasty, this is your place. Don't expect any English here, but the atmosphere is so low-key that it won't matter. The menu consists of a few tasty salads, a variety of pasta dishes, and of course, pizza. I would not say that this is the best pizza in Biberach, but it is good, and other pizza joints in town don't offer other dishes or alcohol. Also, there are more toppings available here, like shrimp or calamari. Food is fresh, there are Italians in the kitchen, and meals arrive quickly. No desserts, so head to the gellato place around the corner (on the marktplatz). Prices are very reasonable. In warm months there is outdoor dining along a pedestrian-friendly cobblestone street. This has become my family's go-to restaurant on nights when we're too tired to cook. Yummy and relaxed.
