Gasthaus Bayrischer Hof : Am Bayrischen Hof 2, 36396 Steinau an der Straße

This was one of the most pleasant Inn experiences I've ever had. It is utterly charming, clean and well cared for. The owners are warm and generous. The food is excellent. It was the first stop on a 9 day trip and I can't imagine we could have an even better time! They raised the bar.

On the country side, a little far away from big cities. Nevertheless, if you like being at a very quiet place, then this is perfect. Food tastes good, particularly in light of the prices being very moderate. Rumpsteak for just about 20 Euro.
