Augustiner Zur Schleuse : Isargestade 739, 84028 Landshut

Passing through Landshut on a rainy day. I landed from Munich in the morning, checked into my hotel down the street and came here for food. Ordered the Schweinebraten and a few different beers. Food was very good. Beer, of course was great, and experienced very kind service. I forgot to get cash before I came and so wasn’t able to tip the server. She was so kind and said, “maybe next time.” I hate to not leave a tip and so went to get cash, gave to the server and had a few more Beers. Haha. Good place. Good people. I’m not sure I will be in Landshut again but will recommend to anyone who does. Appreciate the hospitality!

Very nice restaurant, not quite modern-day but rather traditional Bavarian style place, that's been a great example of what a classic good restaurant here in Bayern looks like. Great delicious, fresh home made food, quickly cooked and served. This pork, which I had, was a Niederbayern specialty of the cuisine is something out of this world! 🇩🇪🥩😋 Delicious and tender! Yummy!! It's been served with traditional Knödel and sauerkraut . All was incredibly tasty and delicious! Loved it! And of course absolutely outstanding beer!🍺👍🏻 Here straight from the keg, they pour into glasses the very finest Augustiner draft beer, which is definitely one of my top top favorite ones! 💯🔥🍺👌🏻 Very nice and friendly staff, and yes, obviously I'll be back here again to give it a try of something else. 😎👍🏻

Really a great place for large groups. Great food. Plenty to eat and really a great experience. Fun for all ages. They even have a play area for the kids.
