Very informative. We were lucky enough to be able to take a free tour led by a former border guard from the Federal Republic of Germany. He was stationed there himself, so it was very interesting to hear the situation from his perspective.

The museum was outstanding even with the English language only segments. It gave a great view of life at the border during the East / West time period. We walked up to the outdoor border installation area. This installation brought the barrier to life. It was well worth the visit.

Super interesting! Both, the museum and the installations outside. Amazing the level of creativity and attention to detail that went into the design of such border installations. One wishes that this would have been the case in other areas (more beneficial to humans) as well. Very educational.
