Always beautiful. If only the old walls could talk. It's simply a wonderful atmosphere, with good food and excellent service. The beer garden is also very cozy in the summer. Since Gaststätte Pilling is very popular, advance reservations are recommended.

I was never a fan of Schnitzel but this resto gave a different perspective. Their schnitzel is tasty, juicy, and the sauce is yummmmmm. No wonder the place was jampacked when we visited. The outdoor dining experience is amazing and add to that the amazing staff they have. Highly recommended when visitinv Altena!

Great place, with old style decor which fits the style good! Super kind staff and great great food! Definitely a place I'll go back to. Easier accessible by foot or bike than car. Research for parking spots beforehand is advised :)
