Because of the many different reviews here, I visited the Zauberküchen Döner and decided to take 3 dishes with me. What surprises me here are the many reviews of 4 to 5 stars, these were mostly given by users who themselves didn't give more than 4 to 5 ratings here on Google Maps, it's strange. For the test we chose 2 different kebab plates and a vegetarian kebab. The service was attentive. The meat on the grill was well browned and wrapped in aluminum foil. When we arrived, this was loosened and the meat was cut. It was mentioned that you should take some time because the fries weren't ready yet. I just noticed that the ingredients for the menu had been carelessly packed into the box. Salad on one side and fries on the other half and kebab meat on top. Dressing on both sides. The salad was very good and tasted fresh, even though there wasn't much left on display. The fries didn't taste as good anymore because they were overlaid with meat and dressing and had already absorbed the latter. The portion was very generous and there was a lot of meat. I thought the kebab tasted ok, but unfortunately nothing more. In my opinion there are better kebabs in the surrounding area. With the vegetarian kebab, the problem was the consistency of the bread in relation to the dressing. Too much dressing was applied here and also right at the beginning of the topping in the back half of the sliced bread, so that when eaten, the bread quickly softened and dripped heavily. By the time we finished eating it, the bread was completely soggy and broken, so we needed a lot of napkins. The store itself was getting a bit old and there were cheap LED advertisements in the window that were supposed to invite customers to buy. For me it was an average kebab that didn't appeal to my taste buds, even though the portions were large. A snack for quick hunger pangs. Combination of meat, spices and dressing, unfortunately only 3 stars for me because there are more interesting kebab meat stalls.
Bread was burnt and yofka was tasteless 😡. Owner was mentally
I was invited there because I was visiting Germany from Switzerland. I was told it's one of the best. The kebab/pocket bread is amazing. We ordered the large version. It's absolutely delicious! The owner is very friendly, funny, and pleasant. You can see he's grateful for the shop. I'm always happy to come back.
