Pantaleo in Forchheim is without a doubt one of the best pizzerias in the city and offers excellent value for money. Located right in the heart of Forchheim, the restaurant impresses not only with its excellent pizza, but also with its unique ambiance. Particularly impressive is the wintery outdoor setting, with heated snow globes where you can sit in privacy and protection while enjoying the snowy landscape – a real highlight that you won't find again anytime soon. We had the Pizza Diavola and the Pizza Spezial, both of which impressed us with their thin, crispy crust, delicious tomato sauce, and high-quality cheese. With a diameter of 32 cm, the pizzas are more than adequately sized, and the value for money is truly outstanding – probably one of the best in Forchheim. It's particularly worth mentioning that the pizzas are not only large, but also perfectly balanced in terms of flavor. We enjoyed half a liter of Montepulciano red wine with our pizza and two Aperols as an aperitif. Because we enjoyed the pizzas so much, we shared a Quattro Stagioni pizza afterward – along with another half-liter of Montepulciano. Not because the portions were too small, but simply because our appetite for the delicious pizzas just wouldn't stop! The service staff at Pantaleo is always friendly, attentive, and courteous, which makes the visit even more pleasant. The only downside: payment is only in cash, which might be a slight obstacle for some guests. For us, Pantaleo is our regular restaurant, and we will certainly be happy to return again and again. We can recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for excellent pizza in Forchheim – everything is just right here!

Great atmosphere, especially in the seating area to the left as you enter. Our server was enthusiastic and friendly. Service was quick, and the food was delicious. The pizza crust was a thin style and perfectly baked. My wife had a pasta dish that she also thought was delicious. We plan on returning soon when we can sit outside.

We tried the pizza and we didn't like it at all. We also asked for water and the waiter (who was indeed very kind) asked us if we wanted the one in the bottle (we hadn't checked in the menu but there was also another version) and we paid 6,50 euros for 0,75 litres (too much in my opinion, but my bad because I didn't check).
