When we go to the Kellerwald in Forchheim, we always go to Birgit's Schindlerkeller. Super delicious Franconian food at reasonable prices. Franconian beer 🍺 from the Greif brewery. Beautiful tiered beer garden and green trees. It's also always possible to have a fun chat with the friendly waitresses.

The food was excellent and plentiful. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We were here on a Sunday evening, and even the regulars offered up their table so that we could seat eight people. The portions are really generous; I'm not a bad eater, but I struggled. The price was really reasonable. The price-performance ratio was good.

Super nice cellar, great location. One point deducted: The best and best currywurst in a long time, but unfortunately the sauce was quite thin and there was no ketchup or curry. Very friendly service
