We accidentally became aware of the gourmet block because it was on the way back from the thermal baths. Very nice atmosphere, nice service and of course good food. We really liked it here. If we are in the area again we will definitely eat there again.

We came to Halis together with a couple who were friends and via the Schlemmerblock 2024. As soon as we entered, we noticed the great ambience and dignified atmosphere. The guest room is very nicely and stylishly furnished and you feel good from the first moment. We sat at a table with 2 chairs on one side and a comfortable bench on the other side. The ceilings are equipped with acoustic panels, which have a very positive effect on the noise level in the room. The chairs and the bench are very comfortable. The menu has a lot to offer and there is something for every taste. Ordering drinks and food was very uncomplicated. What was immediately noticeable is that the very friendly waitress "Kathrin" remembered every meal and any changes to the order and did not write it down. Unfortunately, this is no longer a given today and cannot be found everywhere. There are several delicious beers on tap and the wine list is also very well stocked. The food left nothing to be desired and was super tasty! The steaks were exactly as you would expect! The desserts were also excellent. It's the little things that round off the overall concept. Be it Kathrin, who accompanied and served us excellently throughout the evening with her very friendly and unobtrusive manner. She always served from the left and even after eating we noticed little things like: B. Salt and pepper mills were taken off the table, which was immediately very positive. We paid separately and Kathrin brought us the bill without asking and completely correctly allocated. You don't find that every day either. You have to have a certain feeling for it. A big compliment also goes to the kitchen, which does a fantastic job! It's definitely not the last time we've been here and we'd love to come back. See you soon

Very nice atmosphere with very good and beautifully presented food, good quality and tasty. There is plenty of parking space in front of the door. You have a great view over the Wetterau and as far as Frankfurt. Very attentive and friendly service. A detour there is worth it
