DIE DUNKEL - This is a well known traditional restaurant in Friedberg with all local dishes and specialties. Very friendly waitress did welcome us, traditional wooden interior design with an old charme. The number of dishes on the menu is limited, but I think there is something for everyone. About drinks it is different… Many different choices of great beers, also wonderful selection of wines and Schnaps. One thing I don’t understand, you have this wonderful traditional restaurant and most available drinks are high end quality, except the Applewine (Cider). Only one Applewine on the menu and this is Possmann - why not some great Applewine from BITW or Weidmann & Groh or any other brand from near by. Usually I drink always Applewine if a good selection is available, but in this case I did rather drink beer.

Medí-evil origin.A real pure feel. Very down to earth, no loud music, no flashyness. If you want a good conversation with friends this is the place. Food is clear, good, simple and affordable - Stay as you are!
