Feuer & Flamme : Hauptstr.38 (Ecke, Wilhelmstraße, 61231 Bad Nauheim

We went there based on a friend's recommendation. The local is nice and cosy, not so big but the atmosphere with the fire is really nice. The concept is really nice and simple. You order a bread filled with toppings and you put it on top of the fire to cook it. Unfortunately it is not really working. Either you get a complete burned bread or a raw one ... After having problems with the first round we asked again and tried with the dessert one. Same same ... It is also not really tasty, you can taste the bread (burned or raw ...) but the rest is really not making a difference or almost impossible to taste (the one with Zimt and Sugar was also really disappointing) If you are having issues to bake the bread properly, you can ask them to put it in the oven to finish the baking process ... Even after that the taste of the bread was kind of disappointing. So all in all, the concept and atmosphere are nice, people are also nice (could not really help our baking questions but ok) but the food is definitely not so cool ! On top of that the prices are pretty high ...

We were there for the first time. The idea is really great. There were 4 of us and we ordered a bit of everything. With salads and bedside table. Everything was really delicious and we were all really full. The young girl who served us was very friendly and competent, everything went quickly and no wish was left unfulfilled. Absolute recommendation. We'll definitely be back.

It was an experience. The food is 4 stars because the bread was a bit tasteless. In general it worked well with the fire and the quantity was okay. In terms of price, I think the pure bread is completely overpriced; a menu is recommended. Service was very good and the ambience was okay too. Overall it's 4 stars for the all-inclusive concept but there is certainly room for improvement.
