Hotel & Gästehaus Krone : Kirchpl. 2, 96160 Geiselwind

We had a good stay here, staff friendly and welcoming. The room we were happy with, bed comfy slight stain on sheet though, peaceful stay apart from the cleaners talking at 8am and trying to enter our room at said time both mornings we stayed. The breakfast although fairly priced was not suitable for a vegetarian like myself but it is typical German breakfast which most would be happy with. The location is great for the concert venue we travelled from England to go to. Couple of problems at checkout, we were first charged for breakfast which we didn't have but was remedied so ok. The big issue we had although is not the hotel's fault and more of a being far away from a city thing is we struggled to find a way to get to Nürnberg on Sunday morning, no Uber, no taxi unless pay extra €50 from them to come from Wurzberg.. However manager managed to drive us to the nearest running train station (which we paid for ofc). So yes it isn't public transport friendly. But otherwise happy with our stay.

Hotel is old and a bit outdated, but ok for one night. The staff is very friendly and the food is good. Two major downsides are you have to walk pretty far from the rooms to the building where breakfast is served, and there is a lot of noise at night. I had to close the window and that stopped to noise luckily, but the result was it was really hot in the room.
