The higher price of accommodation within the locality does not correspond to the quality of the accommodation. I would expect more for my money. The equipment of the rooms is older, some of its parts are in worse condition, only partially modernized. I rate cheap breakfasts with a sufficient selection of dishes as a positive.
Very quite area with car parking. Room very clean and comfortable. Breakfast with wide selection of salty and sweet.
I used to stay here annually for work and it was always a pleasure. Very nice people with clean and comfortable rooms, and great food at the restaurant. Good location as well. I visited Meckenheim knowing almost no German but they always made me feel totally welcomed and helped me in English. Great hotel.
