Cafe and Confectionery Sabel : Limburger Str. 31 A, 61479 Glashütten

Very lovely cafe with delicious cakes, great range of varieties of Sahnetorte, Kuchen, Kekse… everybody can find what they prefer! Very friendly staff and very nice to kids! Kids chairs provided. Large and clean bathrooms with baby changing table. Highly recommended!

@‘23/12/3, we three Korean family were surprised by three things here. 1) Cakes are excellent just like all the reviews said. 2) Coffee/Milkchoco are also as fantastic as cakes. 3) We maybe were just annoying visitors at busy time because of our language problem, ‘Kein-Deutsche’ but all the staffs including ‘boss’ were just trying to help us to get our order very properly, very kindly. This is why the shop still remains with 4.7 points at the google map. We shall keep visiting here even though it takes 30 minutes from our home.

Today our hiking group decided to stop at this cafe to order a slice of cake and hot drink. Of course, during this Corona partial lockdown in Germany, we had to take the food to go. In spite of this we still had a large choice from 14 different cakes to choose from. I had an apple/nut cake and a Caffe Latte, and both were delicious. The service is very friendly and the prices are fair. By auto it is easily reached right on the B8 just north of Königstein. I recommend this cafe to anyone who enjoys a tasty cake 🍰 or pastry!
