A nice restaurant perfect to sit after a good hike. Friendly service. You can sit and only order a drink. There is a space outside with tables well separated. I didn't try any of the main dishes. The ice creams were not that good.

Excellent service, so friendly and accommodating. We were told that the wait for our order would, due to the arrival of a very large party of guests, take about 30 minutes, a very accurate estimate as it turned out, the food was well prepared and presented, the amount was more than enough. The staff were unobtrusively helpful, quick and professional. Am looking forward to my next visit.

Rustic, quaint and cozy Situated conveniently at the intersection going up to the Große Feldberg mountain this little place is serving traditional homemade German cuisine at reasonable prices. We had the fried eggs and fried potatoes and pork schnitzel with onions and chips plus two salad entrees with home made mustard dressing which was delicious. Desert was a lovely pear and poppyseed almond streusel cake. It is all made on site, and the owner was very friendly and helpful.Can recommend.
