I slept well here for three nights, enjoyed a very good breakfast, and an excellent dinner in the evening, all at an excellent price/performance ratio. The atmosphere is very informal and cozy. The owners plan to concentrate solely on their overnight guests starting in spring 2018. This will save on unnecessary staff, and it should be even more comfortable for the hotel guests. A real highlight are the numerous stork nests that can be seen from the hotel room. I'm curious to see if Google Maps will accept the two stork photos – unfortunately, they didn't have it quite as cozy, as it was still snowing here in March.

The Hotel Fahrrad in Altshausen is a hospitable family business with a lot of charm. Bicycles can be parked safely at night. Due to its proximity to Altshausen train station, it is also suitable for train travelers, for example for a trip on the "Räuberbahn" Altshausen - Pfullendorf. If you don't want to eat in the hotel, we highly recommend the nearby Pizzeria Neue Welt .

We stayed in a double room in the hotel for several days at the end of October '19. It was an absolutely pleasant stay. The friendliness and “care” of the Zank family, the owners, contributed to this. Our every wish was fulfilled. The room and the entire hotel were very clean. An extensive and tasty breakfast was offered. The coffee was great. The hotel will also be the first option on our next visit to Altshausen. Thanks to the Zank family.
