We stopped by here while hiking the Zugiblubbi trail with our big family. This restaurant is unassuming on the outside, but it has a large indoor eating hall and a beautiful and serene terrace in the back with a view to the mountains. Food was great with plenty of options, service was great and accommodating. The kids played on the playground next to it while waiting for the food but also enjoyed the ice cream. It's a lovely place for a stop!

The restaurant recently changed management and the staff is very friendly and polite! They also speak English and make very good menu recommendations. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant with relaxing background music. We will definitely come again!

Very nice mountain restaurant near Zug. Especially now with all the snow the surroundings look absolutely gorgeous. Busy with cross-country skiers and hikers. It only takes 20 minutes by car to reach and is definitely worth the trip. As an alternative, take the cable car up from the city of Zug.
