Very young, dedicated, and friendly staff. The price is quite reasonable for the quality and size of the portions. The location is quite rural and quiet. My beef burger with a large portion of fries cost just €17.90. We'll be back! 😋😋

Had the pleasure of attending a Holy Communion celebration here at the Saaletal-Stuben a few weeks ago and it was simply delightful. This gem of a hotel is neatly nestled on the banks of the river Saale and languishes peacefully in its picturesque environs. The luncheon was held in a function room adjacent to the main restaurant; the room was spacious, bright and airy—framed with rows of windows which diffused an ample supply of natural light. The food was excellent across the board, with the meal commencing with a delicious liver dumpling soup. For mains, I chose a traditional dish which consisted of tender beef cuts on a bed of noodles topped off with a fresh and zingy horseradish cream sauce. Also noteworthy, was the staff, all very agreeable and highly efficient. The delivery of service was exemplary, with drink orders and any other miscellaneous requests, fulfilled within minutes. All in all, a superb dining experience!

We very much enjoyed staying and eating at this lovely hotel tucked away in Michelau, next to the River Saale. The room was comfortable and clean with a good bed. The only downside was the noise of adjacent bathrooms (gurgling showers and flushing toilets). We ate in the Restaurant which served mainly traditional Bavarian fayre; the Schnitzel I ate was delicious 😋. The Staff were friendly and helpful. Check out the special offers on their website too !
