Hotel Gasthof Eder : Am Eisweiher 3, 83703 Gmund am Tegernsee

I stayed at Hotel Eder Gasthof for only three days, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. This hotel is a good choice both for solo travelers and for families. The rooms were relatively clean, though I did feel that some small details were missing, such as complimentary toiletries like shampoo and a minibar. One of the highlights of the hotel was its friendly and welcoming staff, who made the stay even more comfortable. The hotel itself had a charming, cozy atmosphere, resembling a cabin in the woods. Additionally, there was a small room inside the hotel where guests could purchase wine, beer, and snacks, which was a nice touch. The hotel has only two floors, plus an additional room downstairs. A big advantage for me was the free parking, which was very convenient since I arrived by car. But you need to drive to the München like 1 Hour.

We can only agree with all the 5 star reviews. There is nothing, nothing at all, to complain about. We stayed here with our dog for 4 nights. We would actually like to give more stars, but unfortunately that's not possible. It's incredibly clean, everyone is super nice and helpful. The hotel is so lovingly furnished that there are always new, beautiful things to see. The breakfast is top with regional products. We also had the pleasure of enjoying the home-made bratwursts and our own bread, which was extremely tasty. The sauna is also great and can be turned on upon request, and everything here is tip-top clean. We'll definitely be back. Kind regards from the Black Forest
