We stayed here for three nights at one of their busiest times of the year (Ascension Day/Fathers Day long weekend). The staff were very helpful, calm under pressure, and food and drink efficiently served throughout the the rooms are quiet despite being over the Gasthaus. Beer very good, and meals typical for the region were hearty and well-prepared. Very highly recommended, as is the town and region.

Great beer and solid food offering. Incredibly nice owners. We had an amazing night with a group of locals, who couldn’t have been more friendly. The accommodation was great value including and extensive breakfast. Great place to start a walk as well

Great small rural brewery that makes a fine base if doing the famed Fünf Seidla Steig. Decent simple fare at reasonable prices coupled with one amazing beer make this a can't miss. In colder months, the interior is cozy and in warmer ones, the small but atmospheric Biergarten is the place to relax after completing the hiking circuit. Very fairly priced rooms are available.
