I have eaten here a few times while being in Grafenwohr, Germany for work and have always had a great experience. All of their dishes are delicious, and very reasonable priced. They have a great selection of local beers as well. The servers are very friendly and attentive and also will make great recommendations. They have a very nice beer garden / outdoor seating area. Overall experience was very good and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. I have not stayed at the hotel, only eaten at the restaurant.

German hospitality can either be fantastic or it can be…this. If not required to stay here for work, I’d never choose it. Here for a 4 week stay, paying full price and contributing heavily to their restaurant. Most owners would bend over backwards to make their guests feel comfortable, welcome and valued. Not here. There was a celebration in the beer garden on Saturday that lasted until 0300. I work from 0700-1900 as do the majority of guests here this week. Our windows are all open all night because it’s freakin hot! We all suffered. This is a NO GO. Also, be prepared for: 1. a room too hot to sleep in (in September) 2. no microwave 3. a tiny fridge that can’t sufficiently chill a beer 4. no elevator 5. all carb breakfast 6. no option to skip the €10 euro sugar breakfast 7. sub-par housekeeping I’d happily pay €75 for this. Not €130.

I went to Graf on business in 2009 and Google reviews wasn't really popular. 14 years later I decided to leave a fantastic review. Andreas, his family, and his staff did a magnificent job providing top rate hospitality for me and the rest of us the entire month we were there. The rooms across the street from the restaurant had just opened. A big thanks for the rooms, the food, the beer, and the hospitality.
