This owner-operated inn is highly recommended. Friendly, attentive service—the kind it should be, but has become rare. A heartfelt effort goes into this place. Excellent food and drinks, especially the fried trout.

The hotel staff were very kind and I’m thankful/grateful for them. Please know to call ahead of time if coming in late for check in. I came in a couple of hours after check in from Poland, but the staff was patient and did let me know to call them next time. I do want to come back to this hotel and have more nights of stay to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Two minutes away from the main highway and bus stop, ten minutes walk from the railway station, this Gasthof offers excellent Franconian hospitality in beautiful and quiet surroundings. Good opportunities for walking, canoeing end more. Modern and comfortable rooms, good food and beer, and very friendly hosts.
