Gasthof Gmelch : Sommerleite 2, 91171 Greding

We were looking for a quiet, family-friendly place to stay while passing through. The decor is quaint and cozy, the room well-kept, and the bathroom clean. The large, solid wooden bed was perfect for 2 adults and 1 toddler. The room had a balcony where we could spend the evening near our child. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. There's a highchair and even some toys in the dining room. The food was delicious, and breakfast was perfectly adequate. There was even homemade bread and homemade sausage. Also suitable for vegetarians! It's certainly not an ultra-modern 5* hotel, but it's very welcoming, quaint, and authentic. The place is quiet, small, and offers plenty to see for a stopover: cows, goats, a stream with fish, chickens (which even come to the playground), and the highlight was a small, very well-maintained playground within walking distance of the inn. We'll definitely stop here again.
