Guest Reviews & Experiences at Steghouse am Chiemsee
We visited this restaurant for our anniversary and had made a reservation in advance, specifically requesting a table closest to the lake view as it matters to us. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were seated totally random. When we asked if we could move to the lakefront table as it was available, the waiter rudely debated our request by saying “what will be the difference, its only two meters” which dampened our mood. We would have even appreciated a simple polite “unfortunately we can’t change” Besides that the food was really good, no complaints there. Prices are preferable, and they have a nice lake view on South terrace.

I don't do a lot of reviews but this place deserves it. It was one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had in Germany! Hands down the nicest restaurant staff I've ever met! My steak was cooked perfectly, so juicy. Hell, even my side salad, the often thrown together dish, tasted so good. I highly recommend the Steghouse. I will be returning for another juicy Tomahawk!
