For my birthday celebration, my family and I went to the old Schmidt brickworks. I highly recommend this restaurant for its friendliness, attentiveness, and ambiance. The table was beautifully decorated. The food was perfect, and as mentioned at the beginning, so was the service. It wasn't our first time here, but it certainly won't be our last. The enclosed courtyard makes the beer garden perfect for those with small children.

This evening there were 4 of us at the Alte Ziegelei Schmitt. From the welcome to the starters (tuna tartare + soup and salad) to the main course with beef fillet + schnitzel + sliced meat and as a bedside table; Kaiserschmarren with ice cream and apricot apple jam 👌👏😀 simply delicious. 5 stars plus. It wasn't the last time we were here 🙏😀

We attended a Christmas party with about 50 people at the old brickworks and were absolutely thrilled. Everything was just right! From the friendliness and attentiveness of the service staff to the selection and quality of the food, as well as the fact that all guests received their meals (starter, main course, and dessert) almost at the same time. The owner and her team made the visit an unforgettable evening with outstanding food and top-notch service that is unmatched in many restaurants – we would love to return and can recommend the restaurant 100%!
