Landgasthof - Hotel Rittmayer : Willersdorf 108, 91352 Hallerndorf

We visited the restaurant at the Gasthof Rittmayer for lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience. We tried 4 different types of Carp (Fresh water fish) and could not decide which one was the best. They were all so good. The restaurant staff for very friendly and swift with the service. They were kind to accommodate our dessert and coffee request at 2:59 pm just before closing ;). They were limited options for vegetarians. The restaurant was handicap accessible including with bathrooms.

If it's Carp season then book well in advance. It's a large restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining, but so popular that you might need to car 100m away. The food is excellent and well priced. The service can be slow especially during the hectic 2 lunchtime sittings, but well worth the wait.

FANTASTIC food and great draft beer, especially the Baked "Pfeffer Karpfen." Service is good but lacks a bit of friendliness.
