Nice place for a fresh beverage. Wonderful brewery on a infamous bierwanderung route.

Good drink prices, average food prices. Very tasty beer. Reservations desired, staff friendly, felt a bit understaffed on Sundays. Unfortunately, credit cards are not accepted, so it is not entirely up to date. Restaurant and toilets clean and rustic. Overall recommended.

On May 1st, we were completely overwhelmed by the holiday rush. Many guests were turned away with the excuse that the restaurant was completely full, even though there were free tables everywhere. At least the waitress made it clear upon entering that it would take a while and, on top of that, they had run out of French fries. It quickly became clear that the kitchen wasn't able to prepare enough food for all the guests in a timely manner, and many were therefore being turned away. As a result, we waited 75 minutes for our orders. The food was very good and the portions were large. The salad and dressing were also very tasty. Unfortunately, the ambiance is not Greek at all, but Franconian. On the positive side: The service was very friendly despite the stress. Due to the lack of Greek ambiance and the far too long wait, I have to deduct two stars. However, the Greek restaurant deserves a second chance due to the very good food. Update from May 6, 2018: Everything was perfect on today's visit. The service was super friendly and extremely child-friendly. The food arrived quickly this time and, just like on the first visit, was very good – the portions were generous. We were able to sit outside in the beautiful summer weather. This meant that the less-than-Greek ambiance inside was hardly noticeable. Therefore, I'm increasing my rating from 3 to 4 stars and look forward to my next meal at Rittmayer. Update from June 9, 2018: The positive impression from May 6, 2018, was fully confirmed. Both in terms of the quality and quantity of the food, as well as the friendliness. Great, keep it up! Update from June 13, 2018: The food was once again top-notch! The hostess is very friendly and child-friendly. For us, the first impression from May 1st is now completely outdated. Highly recommended! Update from June 21, 2019: After more than a year and numerous visits, we are very satisfied with the quality, friendliness, and speed offered. The rating is therefore increased to 5 stars. Keep it up!
