We had lunch at the Edelweißhütte on Deckersberg today and were absolutely thrilled! The beer garden is beautifully situated and very well-maintained – ideal for relaxing. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The food was truly delicious – we had the Franconian Schäufele (pork shoulder), which was wonderfully tender with a crispy crust, accompanied by a fresh salad. Everything was perfectly prepared and very tasty. An all-around great stop with Franconian cuisine, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere. We'd love to come back!

A lovely day trip with plenty of hiking trails all around. We hiked from Henfenfeld to the Edelweiss Hut. It was a lot of uphill, of course, but manageable in about 1.5 hours with average fitness and without detours. Very friendly and quick service, and the food was solidly good, though the sauce and roast could have used a bit more spice. The hazelnut schnapps was excellent.
