Only stopped for soup and cake after touring the neighbouring Museumdorf, but still heartily recommend it for its warm atmosphere and very welcoming, friendly waitress. Food and drinks were outstanding too. And afterwards try your hand at nine-pin bowling! The balls are oddly shaped but that just adds to the charm and fun!
My mother, I and my children were eating today. Everyone enjoyed it excellently, my mother especially enjoyed the lamb dish. Well seasoned. Portion sizes were without complaint. Food was served quickly. Price wise also okay. The service tried hard and was friendly, but the language barrier is big. Her colleague who cleared away could only speak a few words of German. Unfortunately. A ray of hope, the experienced waitress Anita is back on board. The house musician played skilfully in the background. Harmony is his second self. Terrace was well attended. I have known the inn for almost 8 years now. I would like to celebrate my daughter's communion there with the family. If you were an expert you could make a lot of things out of it.
We were there today with the family and colleagues... everyone enjoyed it excellently... the others had surbraten, cheese spaetzle... my colleague and I had apple strudel. Simply delicious. The lunch rounded off the great tour in the museum village perfectly.. loving, very attentive service, live music especially for us .. it was also great that questions about the building were answered honestly and with interest... .. worth a trip/worth seeing... especially when you consider that the buildings were dismantled somewhere else in order to be lovingly rebuilt and preserved here on site.. Bavarian folk songs to match.. perfect and my respect for this work... It's something special..
