Super tasty pizzas at a SUPER price-performance ratio It's rare to get pizzas that are so delicious and, above all, filled with plenty of toppings. The base is really crispy. The hamburger is also a dream. The alternating weekly menu leaves nothing to be desired At Marlene you really get full for your money, with the food being of great quality Special requests are easily realized. I'm there often. There have never been any reasons for complaints If you've NEVER been there, you've missed something
We stopped here by chance while on vacation through the Schlemmerpass, and we were very surprised. It was delicious, modernly decorated, and the owner was very friendly. He even sang along to a few songs; he was obviously in a great mood! The pizza is highly recommended; the crust was particularly crispy and thin, and the toppings were plentiful. The crust was also incredibly crispy, thin, and airy.
We ate there because of the very positive reviews of the restaurant. We thought it might be an insider tip, since most sports restaurants are so-so. The restaurant is directly above the SVA showers and restrooms; the interior is spartan and unimaginative. Not particularly clean either. The service was a bit disorganized and very chaotic, but still friendly and accommodating. Now for the most important thing: the food was honestly nothing special - the pizza dough tasted like it came from a convenience store pizza, and I've had better rigatoni. Unfortunately, it was a sheet pan pizza. During the course of the visit, I learned that the owner is Portuguese. Why not cook typical local food? There isn't a single Portuguese restaurant in the Dachau/Freising area! Sorry, but you can find better Italian food elsewhere; this place just lacks the Italian heart.
