This monument is impressive both outside and inside. I definitely recommend you to visit the inside part, an impressive tower that will give you a fantastic view of the surrounding neighborhood and mountains. The tower includes a lot of explanation about the history of Switzerland and Wilhelm Tell, and you can also have an audio guide of 8 minutes atop of the tower

Nice monument of William Tell at Altdorf, you can go inside the tower. The entrance is free, lots of stairs. Great view from the top.
