A great inn with plenty of seating inside and outside in the beer garden. There are large umbrellas in the beer garden, which makes the stay very pleasant. No card payments accepted. The value for money is good. We were very satisfied.

Fast, Easy, Good A typical Franconian inn. Not only the food, but also the ambiance exudes a rustic, home-style charm. The menu isn't the largest, but the dishes listed are very appealing just by reading them. The value for money is absolutely amazing! We had the farmer's steak and turkey steak, including a juice spritzer and a light beer. Very generous portions for a total of €44.30. A definite recommendation!

We actually traveled to beautiful Franconia to enjoy the excellent cuisine. Unfortunately, a few days before the start of our trip, I was hit with countless food intolerances, which almost ruined our epicurean excursion. That was until we discovered the Gasthaus Zur Sonne (Inn). Super friendly service. Great food. Ample portions. But the best part: When they realized I couldn't eat flour, eggs, or milk, they prepared something specially for me. You don't experience something like that every day. It was a one-of-a-kind experience. And to top it all off, they even gave me freshly knitted socks for the cold season. In short: 120% recommendation for your stomach and feet.
