We stopped here for lunch as a cycling group. A positive highlight, of course, are the delicious house beers from Lammbräu – they also offer a seasonal beer that changes every season, and all beers are available in a chilled stein for an additional charge. There's a large outdoor area, relatively close to the fairly busy road but partially covered by a tent to protect against bad weather. The food is presented in good Swabian home cooking style. The portions came quickly and were generous. However, some of them had a few minor niggles, such as dry bread or a side salad without dressing. The staff, however, were extremely friendly and helpful. A smart recommendation, not only for cyclists, but also for those on the Kocher-Jagst Trail.

It is a very good restaurant and the dishes tasted amazing. It was our second time there. This time we had the Christmas buffet. And this was the base of this rating. Well for nearly 41€ the expectations were pretty high. The staff is very, very friendly. Always a smile on their faces and looking out for everybody so that no one is left behind. The food tasted very well. One kind of fish was, in my opinion, too dry, but not everything will be viewed as that. It says on the menu vanilla ice cream, but it was mostly a cream ice cream with a hint of vanilla. So why does it say vanilla. Surprisingly, you didn't have to wait to get soup, appetizers, or other dishes. Back to the roundabout 41€ without the drinks. Only one kind of soup , what about a second option, and what about the vegetarian visitors. In my opinion, 3 different fish, but for that prize, it could be more. Some size of the meat or fish were big and having smaller one, maybe more could get a taste of everything. The dessert was at a place where a lot of people were walking by. That was a no-go for me. In the end, one dessert wasn't available anymore, and it was a long time to 3 pm. . Maybe my expectations were really high for that prize, but still 41€ is quite a number. The room was big and yes we had space but the acoustic was very loud, and sometimes it was difficult to talk to other people at the same table.

I can only comment the restaurant. We went in for dinner with a group of people. Service was nice and fast, and the food was very good. Big portions, good quality vs. price.||Beer is of course very good. We had a guided tour in the brewery as well, which was also very interesting.
