We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant for the first time yesterday by chance and reserved a table for the evening. And what can I say? We were completely overwhelmed. We hadn't expected that at all in this small rural village. We are huge fans of Italy, love Italian cuisine, and have tried many things accordingly. But what we were able to experience here truly tops everything: a true culinary highlight. Here, you can feel and taste the passion and heart and soul that goes into everything and with which every dish is prepared. Simple and unfussy, with a few but the best, preferably regional and seasonal ingredients, with an incredible variety of flavors. And all of this is also very attractively presented. Overall, everything is also extremely fairly priced. Add to that a family atmosphere where Lucio and his wife Birgit really do their very best to satisfy their guests. We had a very stimulating conversation with them later on. The only downside is that due to the poor staffing situation in the restaurant industry, the restaurant is only open on Friday evenings. We hope the two of them can still find motivated staff and persevere to preserve this little culinary gem. We'd definitely love to come back soon.
