Guest Reviews & Experiences at Café Oktober - Harburg
I ordered their pasta bolognese, cheese burger and cappucino. The pasta was just okay, didn't out-tasted previous pastas I ate before. The cheese burger was also just okay but not on a "superb" side for me. I was expecting of a more cheesy side since it's a cheese burger but, it was just a thin slice of cheese and the patty was also kinda' overdone. I think you should just inform them how you want your burger to be cooked. It was on me for expecting that they will not overcook it for it to be juicy. But, here's the worst part for a coffee lover like me. The cappucino I ordered, it literally had ground coffee beans on it. 😭 Dunno if it was just a coffee from a drip coffee machine when it should've been an espresso shot for a cappucino. 🥹 Lastly, there are flies in the table settings inside the resto. 😥 Luckily, the staffs were very kind and hospitable. They always tend to your needs. Hence, that was just the 5-star I could give. The rest? Just average- 3 staaar. 😌

Wonderful dining experience! While in Hamburg for a day, this restaurant was recommended to us. The atmosphere was warm and cozy with beautiful jazz music playing. Musical instruments and photographs of musicians were everywhere on the walls. Our server Julia could not have been more efficient, attentive or friendly! She was great! My husband's steak was perfectly done and the sauce was outstanding. My Cordon Blue was good too. And try the cream of broccoli soup. We'll be back to Hamburg later this month and will definitely go back!
