It started with wanting to make a reservation. They usually don't take reservations, but they let me make one which was nice. Once we came in and stated we had a reservation we were already greeted by name. 😁 There were plenty of tables free, since it's a pretty big restaurant, so reservations on regular weekends I'd say are not necessary. Though there were a lot of tables empty, you could tell people from the area liked to come to this place, as a lot of families with their children were there and also older couples. The staff was very nice. The food was really good! My partner ordered a Karpfen - he loves loves Karpfen in general - and he said it was one of the best ones he has eaten in a few years. And he is not one to throw around with compliments. So if you love Karpfen - get one here. I ordered deer with Kloß. It even came with a little bit of cranberry sauce . I completely forgot to make pics at first, so sorry it was already have eaten. But I needed to make pics since we liked the food so much and I was determined to write a review about them. I couldn't finish my deer meat, so I asked them to put the rest to go for me. I was very pleasantly surprised that they gave me a really good amount of gravy extra with the leftover meat. That was truly nice. The prices are for today's standard pretty normal not a bit steep, but the portions were big, so that makes sense. They also have a menu just for kids, with smaller prices and I suppose appropriate portions, though I didn't order any. We did get a parking spot right away, but they seemed a bit limited, so not sure if there was another parking lot besides the spots right in front of the restaurant. The bathrooms were clean, though you needed to go about 15 stairs or so down. To get into the restaurant you'll also need to go a few steps upstairs. Definitely would recommend and if we were ever in this area again, we'd come here again. If you find this review useful, please make sure to give this one a thumbs up. 👍 😊
For me, this is the best carp in the Aischgrund region. From their own ponds and prepared by the chef. Fresh game and other delicacies are also on the menu. The service and the hosts are excellent. Keep up the good work! New is the Kibitzen schnitzel with fried onions and egg, served with fried potatoes or fries and salad. Simply delicious.
Newly discovered and really excited. The menu has the right food for everyone. The food is really fresh and very tasty. If we like larger portions, this is the right place. In addition, several dishes are also offered gluten-free 👍 We were thrilled🙋♂️
