I stayed only one night. The kitchen was not operating, so I had dinner at the nearby pizzeria. Hotel looks traditional from the outside, but my room has been equipped with modern furniture. Also the bathroom was very nice and clean. WiFi signal was strong. Breakfast was tasty and in sufficient quantity. I can recommend this hotel.

This is a great value B&B in an attractive Bavarian village. It's well run, exceptionally clean and comfy. The owner is very helpful and speaks good English. A modest breakfast is provided and there are drinks available via an honesty fridge, but no bar or lounge. I would recommend for business or pleasure.

Close to centre of Hilpoltstein, large room with wooden floor (which I prefer over carpet). Breakfast is OK, no buffet. Could be more generous but if asked more stuff was brought. Positive: the chef baked a cake for his guests. To be improved: an espresso machine is missing.
